What Is Penile Curvature?

Penile Curvature or medically known as Peyronie's Disease is a bending of the penis during an erection. Although not a serious illness, this condition is somewhat embarrassing to men who have this disorder, especially when it comes to sex.

Hardened or calcified tissues due to the presence of fibrosis or internal scarring, mainly restricts the penis to expand normally during erection which results to curvature. Curving of the penis body could highly affect any man's sex life that is why this condition must be treated immediately once diagnosed.

Peyronie's disease normally occurs in middle aged men but there are cases that some teens suffer from this condition. An estimated average of 1 out of 20 men have penile curvature condition worldwide.
